Brief overview of the contents

§1 Scope

The manufacturer and guarantor SammyLunaDesigns (officially: Angermann Jarema GbR) grants a voluntary manufacturer's guarantee on all specially manufactured dog leads and collars (brand: SammyLunaDesigns) .

The guarantee period is
180 days

This includes all collar/leash items that are marked with our brand and/or items in these categories:

  • Dog leashes
  • Dog collars (except tick collars)
  • Handmade pipe chains
  • Handmade keychains

There is no warranty coverage for products that are explicitly excluded from the warranty but are still listed in these categories.

The period for calculating the guarantee period begins on the invoice date. The geographical scope of the guarantee protection is Europe-wide .

This manufacturer's warranty refers to the full and proper functioning of the product during the specified warranty period. The difference to the warranty claim is that this warranty also covers defects that only arose after purchase.

If a defect occurs during the warranty period, the manufacturer will provide one of the following services at its discretion within the scope of this warranty.

  • Free repair of the goods or
  • Free exchange of the goods for an equivalent item with an identical appearance

    §2 Requirements

    The prerequisite for claiming the guarantee service is that the guarantor is given the opportunity to examine the guarantee case. This can only be done by sending in the buyer's goods. On-site service is not offered.

    It is important to ensure that damage to the goods during transport is avoided by using secure packaging. The buyer must bear the shipping costs unless otherwise agreed with the guarantor.

    To apply for warranty service, you must contact the guarantor in advance, stating your order or invoice number. The following contact options are available here:

    If your warranty claims are justified, you will not incur any additional costs. Returning the goods is therefore free of charge.

    In the event of unjustified warranty claims, we allow ourselves to charge a flat rate for expenses and shipping of €3.75 (exempt from sales tax).

    §3 Exclusions

    Guarantee claims are excluded in the event of damage to the goods

    • normal wear and tear (carabiner look, paint removal, oxidation)
    • Processes or changes that can be attributed to the natural material properties
      e.g. patina formation in leather, shape and color changes in leather, etc.
    • improper treatment
      Please note our care instructions on the product pages and the correct choice of weight class - suitable for your dog - (if available)
    • wanton destruction
    • Failure to follow safety precautions or application instructions
    • Use of force
    • External influences such as the dog biting/chewing on the goods
    • Attempt repairs on your own
    • Loss/Theft

    §4 Legal information

    This manufacturer's guarantee does not restrict your legal rights against us arising from the purchase contract concluded with us. Any existing statutory warranty rights towards us remain unaffected by this guarantee promise. The manufacturer's guarantee therefore does not violate your legal rights, but rather extends your legal status and the coverage of defects that occur.

    If the purchased item is defective, you can always contact us within the scope of the statutory warranty, regardless of whether there is a warranty claim or the warranty is being used.
