A perfect pull-stop collar for your dog, which contracts up to the pull limiter when the leash is pulled and automatically expands when the dog walks loosely. It is made from a high quality ⭐ Premium rope made.

The collar can be quickly and easily adjusted to suit your dog's neck circumference. Instead of a knot as a pull limiter, we use a round ring with a bar so that the collar can be adjusted easily and flexibly.

💡 There should be at least 5cm difference between the head circumference (widest part of the head including ears if applicable) and the (closest) neck circumference.

👉 We need the circumference of your dog's head to determine the minimum size of the collar. You can use our measuring instructions for this.

We strongly recommend that you also specify the neck circumference!

The largest neck circumference setting is determined by the head circumference and is approx. 4cm shorter than the head circumference. Smaller is always possible by adjusting the round ring on the collar!

Example: You specify a head circumference of 40cm. The largest neck circumference that can be achieved here would be approx. 36cm. You can always make the collar smaller.

Measure correctly

Measure neck circumference

Get the dog to “stand” or “sit”.
Place a flexible tape measure at the collar point
(alternatively: cord/thread/shoelaces)
Pull the tape measure tightly

Note: Do not use the famous “two-finger buffer rule.” Make sure you measure snugly.
Read the value (or measure the length if using a cord). We recommend carrying out another test measurement.
Note the note below about adding a “feel-good buffer.”

With any other adjustable collar
You can add another 1-2cm buffer and then determine the size you need and select accordingly in the product.

If your size overlaps with another size (e.g. M and L), we recommend choosing the larger one. It is also possible to make an intermediate size. To do this, select the “larger” one in the product and write your desired intermediate size in the note field in the shopping cart.

Measure head circumference

Get the dog to “stand” or “sit”.
Place a flexible measuring tape around the widest part of the head - often directly in front of the beginning of the ears
(alternatively: rope/cord/thread/shoelace)

Read/mark value, carry out test measurement if necessary - round up decimal values

💡 If you use a tape measure alternative such as string, thread, shoelaces, you can then measure the marked length on the string with a ruler.

I'm afraid that I'll measure my neck circumference.

If you have followed our measuring instructions, you can hardly go wrong. However, if you want to be 100% sure that the collar will fit to size, then we offer templatesDownload & Printat.

You can easily cut these out with scissors and use them to measure an existing, perfectly fitting collar. However, please make sure that the existing collar is not set in a setting that is too loose. It should be really tight. We also add approx. 2cm buffer to your measurements. So specify the tight neck circumference.

I don't have a tape measure at home, how can I measure?

Take a piece of string; if necessary, you can simply use the shoelace on your shoes. Place this snugly around your dog's neck, taking the fur into account. Note or mark the location of the measurement and then measure the length of the cord up to your mark. (Please make sure that you measure from the correct side of the cord - simply the distance that went around the dog's neck).

What if my rope collar is too big?

Is the rope collar safe enough for my dog?

Absolutely - Our rope collars are all sewn with extra strong and tear-resistant polyester sewing thread and the rope ends are also welded together. This means that the entire collar is absolutely resistant to material degradation and rot.

The principle of every collar is of course that it cannot be pulled over the dog's head when closed and the size is therefore appropriate. However, this is a requirement for all collars.

What if my rope collar is too small?

We will make your collar new for you. Please contact us and let us know the correct size. You can also use this service via ourReturn formbook & perceive.

If we have taken the wrong measurements and the size does not match the size you ordered, then this service will remain free of charge for you. Note our statedTolerances& ourMeasuring instructions. Then nothing can go wrong.

Wie lange benötigt ihr für die Herstellung meines Halsbands?

Da wir alle Halsbänder selbst per Handarbeit anfertigen und auch die zur Verfügung stehende Farbauswahl enorm hoch ist, müssen wir oft die gewünschte Farbe selbst erst beim Lieferanten bestellen. Sollten die Materialien bei uns bereits auf Lager sein, dauert es in der Regel zwischen 1-3 Werktage, andernfalls wie unter "Lieferzeiten" angegeben, bis dein Halsband unsere Manufaktur verlässt.

Ich möchte gerne eine Farbe gegen eine Andere austauschen

Schreibe uns per WhatsApp oder eine E-Mail mit deinem Änderungswunsch. Da wir auf Bestellung herstellen sollte die gewünschte Änderung kein Problem darstellen.

Wie sollte ein Halsband sitzen?

Dafür gibt es keinen verlässlichen Indikator, wir können dir aber ein paar hilfreiche Tipps geben:

1. Es sollte nicht zu locker sitzen.

2. Es sollte nicht über den Kopf ausgezogen werden können.

3. Messungen nicht im Liegen durchführen.

4. Vergesse die "2-Finger-Regel Puffer einplanen" - dadurch wird das Halsband zu groß

5. Es sollte sich im angezogenen Zustand noch drehen lassen.

Allgemeine Hinweise

- Korrekte Leinenanbringung

Das Leinenende mit dem unmittelbar nach dem Karabiner integrierten Ring gehört an die Hundeseite.

- Metallwaren

Schrauben, Karabiner, Ringe & Schnallen sind einer dauerhaften Reibung ausgesetzt. Das ist ein natürlicher Prozess und lässt sich bei Hundeleinen kaum verhindern. Unsere "Hardware" ist je nach Farbe unterschiedlich vorbehandelt und besitzen daher auch eine unterschiedliche Abriebfestigkeit. Grundsätzlich verwenden wir Metalllegierungen von sehr guter Industriequalität, welche eine sehr hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit aufweist. (Sehr robust gegen Rostbildung). Jede eingesetzte Hardware wird vor Einsatz darauf geprüft & getestet. Welche Hardware konkret bei diesem Produkt verwendet wird, findest du weiter oben aufgelistet.

Lackierte Hardware (schwarz): Am meisten anfällig, die Lackierung kann sich auf Dauer abreiben.
Verkupferte Hardware (rose-gold): Geringe Anfälligkeit.
Vermessingte Hardware (goldener Look): Geringe Anfälligkeit.
Echt-Messing Hardware (gold): Keine Anfälligkeit
Silberne Hardware: Keine Anfälligkeit

Farbabweichungen bei der Darstellung sind möglich & abhängig von der Kalibrierung deines Displays. Wir bemühen uns die Farben so realitätsnah wie nur möglich darzustellen und haben bisher dazu nur positives Feedback erhalten.

Eine Halsband zählt zur Grundausstattung und wird teilweise "24/7" durchgängig benutzt. Daher sind Gebrauchsspuren auf Dauer ein ganz normales Vorkommnis und nicht zu vermeiden.

Wir geben dir ein paar Tipps, wie du das Halsband am besten pflegen kannst.

Wash/clean

For light dirt, it is usually sufficient to briefly clean the collar with water. The ropes have a dirt-repellent rope cover.

If it is very dirty, you can gently wash the rope collar in the washing machine or by hand at 30°C. To do this, use a laundry bag/laundry net so that your drum remains protected from the hard metal.

Hand washing also works very well and is usually quicker. Simply prepare a tub/bucket with warm water and some detergent and soak the rope collar in it for 5-10 minutes. If necessary, help gently with a lint-free cloth/rag. This is gentler and our recommendation compared to the washing machine.

In general, avoid:

- Water solutions containing salt (e.g. dishwasher tab)

- Fabric softener

- Aggressive cleaning agents

Simply let the collar air dry. Avoid heating, hairdryers and dryers. The ropes dried relatively quickly.

Karabinerpflege (Tau-Halsband)

Fetten: Wir empfehlen ein regelmäßiges ölen in Abständen von ca. 6 Monaten bzw. nach intensiven Waschvorgängen oder großem Badespaß. Solltest du dich überwiegend in Salzwassernähe aufhalten verkürzt sich diese Empfehlung auf kürzere Abstände nach Bedarf & örtlichen Gegebenheiten.

Reinigen: Kontrolliere nach Aufenthalten an z.B. Sandstränden den ordnungsgemäßen Verschluss des Karabiners.

Allgemein gilt: Die klassischen Bolzenkarabiner sind bekannt dafür sich gerne selbst mit Sandkörnern zu blockieren. Die Scherenkarabiner hingegen weniger. Bei unseren Tau-Halsbändern wird solcher für gewöhnlich verwendet. Reinige den Karabiner bei Bedarf einfach unter fließendem Wasser.

Halsbänder

Nutze bitte unsere Messanleitung und orientiere dich nicht an Größen anderer Hersteller.

Messe dein bestehendes Halsband nicht längs ab. Das ist viel zu ungenau, da die Größenbestimmung noch von z.B. der Bauart und dem Material abhängig ist. Messe es nur in geschlossenem Zustand & dann nur den Innenkreis.

Wir stellen dafür ausdruckbare Schablonen bereit, mit diesen lässt sich die Größe an einem bestehenden Halsband am genauesten bestimmen. (Drucker notwendig)

Leinen

Die Längen sind immer im offenen Zustand der Leine angegeben. (Gemessen von Karabiner zu Karabiner).
