Warranty conditions

§1 Scope

The manufacturer and guarantor SammyLunaDesigns (officially: Angermann Jarema GbR) grants a voluntary manufacturer's guarantee on all specially manufactured dog leashes and collars (brand: SammyLunaDesigns) .

The warranty period is
180 days

This includes all collar/leash items marked with our brand and/or items in these categories:

  • dog leashes
  • dog collars (except tick collars)
  • Handmade pipe chains
  • Handmade keychains

Products that are explicitly excluded from the warranty but are still listed in these categories are not covered by the warranty.

The period for calculating the guarantee period begins on the invoice date. The geographical scope of the guarantee protection is Europe-wide .

This manufacturer's warranty refers to the full and proper functionality of the product during the specified warranty period, subject to proper handling in accordance with the product care instructions and/or applicable safety instructions (see respective product page).

The difference to the warranty claim is that this guarantee also covers defects that only occurred after the purchase.

Should a defect occur during the warranty period, the manufacturer will provide one of the following services at its discretion within the scope of this warranty.

  • Free repair of the goods or
  • Free exchange of the goods for an equivalent item with identical appearance
  • Reimbursement of the pro rata purchase price in the form of shop credit
  • Refund of the full purchase price in the form of shop credit

    §2 Requirements

    The prerequisite for claiming the guarantee is that the guarantor is given the opportunity to examine the guarantee case. This can only be done by the buyer sending in the goods themselves. An on-site service is not offered.

    Care must be taken to avoid damage to the goods during transport by using secure packaging. The buyer must bear the shipping costs unless otherwise agreed with the guarantor.

    To apply for a guarantee, you must first contact the guarantor, stating your order or invoice number. The following contact options are available to you:

    If your warranty claim is justified, you will not incur any additional costs. Returning the goods is therefore free of charge.

    In the event of unjustified warranty claims, we reserve the right to charge a flat-rate shipping and handling fee of €5.49. This includes insured return shipping via DHL Parcel.

    §3 exclusions

    Warranty claims are excluded in case of damage to the goods caused by

    • normal wear and tear (carbine look, paint wear, oxidation)
    • Processes or changes that are due to the natural material properties
      e.g. patina formation on leather/brass, shape and colour changes of leather, etc.
    • improper handling
      Please note our care instructions & safety instructions on the product pages, as well as the correct choice of weight class - suitable for your dog - (if available)
    • deliberate destruction
    • Failure to observe safety precautions or application and care instructions
    • use of violence
    • External influences such as the dog biting/chewing the goods
    • DIY repair attempts
    • loss/theft
    • consequential damages caused by existing damages
    • Changes in the metal surface due to regular contact with salty water (e.g. stains due to oxidation)
    • Removing or peeling off the PU leather label

    §4 Legal Notice

    This manufacturer's guarantee does not limit your legal rights against us arising from the purchase agreement concluded with us. Any existing legal warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this guarantee promise. The manufacturer's guarantee does not violate your legal rights, but rather extends your legal position and the coverage of any defects that may occur.

    If the purchased item is defective, you can always contact us within the scope of the statutory warranty, regardless of whether a warranty case exists or the warranty is claimed.
